What: Donation of used soccer gear (cleats, indoor shoes, balls, shin-guards, shorts, socks, shirts).

Purpose: All gear goes to the Heartland Alliance Refugee and Relocation Services, a Chicago agency that runs a summer soccer program for all kids of all ages that have arrived from war-torn countries. Children from all over the world that end up in Chicago have an opportunity to play the game and make friends on the field. They have very little equipment and are given what is donated to keep.

When: Donations are accepted year round.

Thanks to all Team Evanston families that have contributed in the past. To see these kids playing the game for the joy and thrill it provides them in an otherwise uncertain time makes it all worthwhile.
