In response to strong parent and player interest, Team Evanston is pleased to announce that it will be fielding a U-16 Boys HS Premier team and a U-16 Boys HS Classic team which will begin league and tournament play during the 2010 spring season. Following tryouts early this summer, players were selected for both these new teams. To also help these players get ready for the school high school tryouts, Team Evanston coach Tom-Peters Farrell officially kicked things off for these players with summer training sessions. The launch of the Team Evanston Boys High School program follows the successful expansion of the highly successful Team Evanston girls’ high school program that now includes more than 100 players from Evanston and five other high schools.
