Congratulations to Larissa Seibt (U13 Girls Premier), Cailin Coleman (U13 Girls Select), Simone Miklosi (U13 Girls Classic), Hannah Ciesil (U13 Girls Classic) for winning the Chicago Public Schools 7/8th Grade Final. The girls (Edgebrook School) won the Final 2-1 (overtime) versus Sawyer. Larissa scored the tying goal and was set up by Simone. Both girls were involved in the sudden death overtime goal as Larissa started the counter attack deep in her own 18 yard box by dispossessing the opponent and swiftly passing to midfield where Simone sent a through ball to the Edgebrook forward who scored on a break away. Hannah and Cailin were outstanding defensively and all four girls played well. Their opponent, Sawyer, consisted of mostly 14 year olds and Edgebrook consisted mostly of 13 year olds. Sawyer School has 2,000 students and Edgebrook School has 450 students. Congratulations!

Congratulations to the U10 Boys Orange team for going undefeated and winning its bracket at the Illinois Fusion Spring Shootout, May 21-23 in Bloomington, IL!

The boys played four great games against a group of very competitive teams from Illinois and Missouri, ultimately winning the championship 3-2 by way of a “golden goal” in extra time against the SASA Spirits of Springfield, IL.

It was a big Saturday night for Team Evanston’s U11 Girl’s Orange team!  A large contingent of family and friends showed up at Toyota Park to cheer them on as they won the Red Stars Cup championship game 1-0 against the Park Ridge Crushers. The night wasn’t finished there-the girls stayed on to watch the Red Stars first home game of the season and had the honor to serve as the team’s official ball girls.  Congratulations U11 Orange!

  The U18s defeated the Berwyn Blazers 7-4 in the Winter Classic final.

Congratulations to the U10 Girls Orange for finishing 9-0-1 in its IWSL BN division. The team tied the champions in points and head-to-head, but finished 2nd in division by the tie-breaker on goal differential.

Congratulations to the U18 Girls Premier for finishing in first place in the IWSL U19 A Division this past fall! The team also won the Reddan Ice Age Classic and the Battle of the Border Tournaments.

Congratulations to the U11 Boys Orange team for finishing first in their division!

Congratulations to the U10 Boys Orange squad by going undefeated during the fall season.  Playing in the YSSL’s Red-2 division, the boys finished a perfect 10-0, scoring a total of 54 goals while only allowing 16 (a goal differential of 38).  The team is not only excited to continue playing together during the upcoming indoor season, but also with the prospect of competing in the YSSL’s top division, Red 1, next spring.
